Welcome to Tarbox Paint and Quarter horses where we strive to produce the best Tobiano halter horses in the industry.

Through breeding, sales, and training, we have successfully met the needs of individuals that raise and/or show paints and quarter horses.

Tarbox is the home of the superior halter stallion Proud to Impress.

In addition to showing our own horses, Roger is also available to train and show the horses of others for halter. We offer training, showing, breeding, boarding and foaling.

Tarbox Paint and Quarter Horses was started in 1996 by Roger and Nancy Tarbox. Both Nancy and Roger showed quarter horses prior to this for many years. We are members of AQHA and APHA.
In addition, we are members of several state Paint Horse associations including: Minnesota Iowa South Dakota North Dakota
We are also members of the state Quarter Horse associations in: South Dakota Iowa
